Exercise Is So Important As We Age
"So many of what we thought were symptoms of aging are actually symptoms of disuse," says Pamela Peeke, M.D., a University of Maryland researcher and author of Body for Life for Women So Women Everywhere, get moving! We are the lifeblood of this country! Keep it simple if you don't have much time, but do something so you can say you worked out every day. I have started just doing toe raises while doing my hair and the dishes and as I keep saying lunges are easy to fit in right before or after your shower. If you only have 5 minutes per day it is better than nothing and it will make you able (and want) to do more. You will see such a difference in two weeks if you just do 5 minutes per day!
